In surveys in the US around people deciding whether they wanted to return to a Church community again, one of the key factors was whether they felt welcomed. As a community, let’s be mindful during this holiday season:

1. Make room on my pew for someone arriving late.

2. Say hello, introduce yourself and welcome them.

3. They may not know where things are. Items like bulletins, children’s resources, or booklets at the doors – “Holy Mass – A companion” to guide people through the Mass who may feel a little lost.
