Overview
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace. (1 Peter 4:10)
Stewardship is a way of life that calls us to be more like our Lord, Jesus Christ, who came to serve, not to be served. In acknowledging God as the Creator of all, we thank Him by sharing the gifts He gave us with our parish, community and the world.
The U.S. Bishops’ Pastoral Letter on Stewardship describes a steward as one who receives God’s gifts with gratitude, cultivates them responsibly, shares them lovingly and in justice with others, and returns them with increase to God.

Treasure
All parishes are self-funded and rely on the generous contributions of their parishioners for their day to day operations and activities. Every week, funds are collected during the weekend masses at the first and second collections. Funds from the 1st Collection are used to pay parish priests a basic income. Funds from the 2nd Collection go directly towards the operating costs of the parish. Money contributed through the Planned Giving Program: Envelopes or Direct Debit go towards this collection.
